UNEP Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Green Job for Youth Pact: Work to further develop this initiative that was launched in 2022, with 2023 to secure partners joining the initiative and support the delivery of the UNDA work in up to 4 countries in 2023.
- Sport for Nature: Support the Sport for Nature initiative with UNEP working in collaboration with IUCN and IOC to support the delivery of the initiative.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in communications, international relations, political science, sustainable development, environmental science or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of project management is required
- Project management: 5 years of experience of working in highly complex projects of a global nature efficiently and effectively is essential
Language:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in oral and written English and French is required
