Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Chief, Youth, Education & Advocacy Unit, The consultant’s duties will include the following work:
- Research: With Alliance members, consider what could be included in a research agenda for 2023-4, this would look to:
- Build on the research currently undertaken in the Alliance;
- oonsider the gaps / needs;
- Recommend options and an approach going forward.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in communications, international relations, political science, commerce or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of decarbonisation / entertainment industry.
- Entertainment industry: Experience of working in the entertainment and communications sector in the area of gaming for at least 7 years and with insight as to how to work with such entities around the tasks described in the job essential.
- Project management: Able to deliver highly complex projects of a global nature efficiently and effectively Essential.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
