Scope of internship: This internship opportunity is within the CGIAR Initiative on Diversification in East and Southern Africa to support various events across the region. The intern would have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills and a creative flair. It would be a perfect opportunity for the intern to contribute to cutting-edge event planning within the research field and work with an international and diverse team of experts in the field of water management. This will also give them an insight into working with people from a dynamic and multicultural work environment.

Eligibility Criteria

A graduate with a diploma /degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or related fields.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
A genuine interest in event planning and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
Excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
