Design and layout requirements:

Design and layout of documents in accordance with UNICEF and NDOH requirements which will include the following:

  • Branding for the IYCF- E guidelines and the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) Operational Guideline;
  • Use of artwork, which include the UNICEF and NDOH logos and the photos/related artwork;
  • Create a table of content, table of figures, as well as all other additional pages that are required to ensure that the publication reflects a high professional standard;
  • Convert other texts into flow diagrams/ algorithm, graphs, tables, infographics, to reduce the content to be succinct and user-friendly etc. In line with NDOH recommendations;
  • The IYCF-E document, including the Annexures is approximately between 39,000 and 40,000 words in total. The IMAM Guidelines, including the Annexures is approximately between 49,000 and 50,000 words in total.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A university degree in English, Communication, designing and layout, or any relevant qualification
  • High-level copy-editing, design, and layout of professional publications (provide links for the sample work)
  • At least five years of experience in handling publications of this nature (i.e. medical and health), especially work with the international development community; and
  • Excellent understanding and command of English at the native level, Plain English writing and editing and designing skills.
