UNDP Job Vacancy 2023

Job Purpose: Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Resident Representative – Programme and the direct supervision of the Head, Programme Management Support Unit, the Programme Monitoring &Evaluation and Reporting Analyst is responsible for Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation of UNDP Nigeria Country Programme in accordance with the UNDP policies to ensure the accountability of the CO for its performance and contribution to development results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishment of Monitoring & Evaluation system and its implementation in the CO.
  • Ensures effective coordination of the evaluation process in the CO.
  • Development and enhancement of CO’s Results Based Management.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships, and timely donor reporting.

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Public/Business Administration, Social Sciences, Information Technology, International Relations, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ of demonstrated experience at the national or international level in project cycle management including project design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects required;
  • Experience in research and policy-level analysis required;
  • Strong skills in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems required;
  • Previous UNDP experience is desirable.
