UNISFA Job Vacancy 2022
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is within the Facilities and Environmental Management Unit (FEMU) of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA), duty station Abyei. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief FEMU or their designate.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the field of engineering and construction, including 4 years of supervisory responsibility, is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five years for candidates who possess a first level University degree.
- Experience in international operations in a post conflict environment is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position(s) advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
