UNISFA Job Vacancy 2021
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the Medical Services Unit of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA), duty station Abyei. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief of Section, Service Delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Currently registered to practice medicine in own country or another UN member state is required. Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or equivalent in medicine. Residency in one of the medical specialties. Qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of residency. Training and experience in Tropical Medicine is highly desirable.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible clinical experience in one of the areas of medicine.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position(s) advertised, fluency in English is required . Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
