UNDP Job Vacancy 2023
Duties & Responsibilities: The Advisor will provide technical leadership to the implementation of the grants, in collaboration with Government, UN Agencies, donors and other partners, to ensure that the implemented projects will contribute to the broader national strategy. Under the direction and supervision of the Deputy Resident Representative/Programme, the Global Fund Project Advisor leads, supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Global Fund projects, and provides strategic direction for the development and provision of support services in the implementation of projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or any development related field and/or a degree in medical sciences or project management.
- Or
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or any development related field and/or a degree in medical sciences or project management with 2 additional years of experience in relevant field may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A minimum of 10 years (with a master’s degree) or 12 years (with a bachelor’s degree) of experience in project management, resource mobilization and proposal writing.
- Experience in planning, programming, monitoring and evaluation of projects.
- Previous UN or UNDP work experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience of GFATM Grant Management.
- Experience in building and management of partnerships: MoH, HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria and donors
- Ability and experience to work under hardship conditions in a fragile country context will be an asset
- Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
