Overall Responsibilities
- Under the overall guidance of the Emergency Preparedness and Response/BH coordinator/Pandemic Response Manager and working closely with MoH/ government of Uganda counterparts at all levels and collaborating partners, the surge volunteer will provide technical assistance to improve the management of health emergency and systems for a timely response to public health emergencies including regional EOCs, Emergency medical services and other support services.
- S/he will establish/maintain collaborative networks involving local, subnational and national stakeholders and liaise with other programs and departments.
