Your tasks
As part of the internship, you have the following tasks:
- Support for project managers on site
- Creation of literature searches and analyzes on relevant questions in the field of flight, especially in the area of transition
- Participation in the preparation of representatives of refugees and host communities for the Global Refugee Forum
- Development of presentations and publications on various aspects
- Creation of knowledge and information materials on core topics in the area of support for refugees and host communities in Uganda
- Support in the preparation and follow-up of the conference ( Global Refugee Forum)

Qualification:
- Completed basic course in the field of political or social sciences or a related course related to international development cooperation, master’s degree is an advantage
- First experiences in the creation of knowledge and information materials as well as preparation of conferences and events, especially in the context of development cooperation
- Expertise in the areas of flight and migration, humanitarian development peace nexus, global compact on refugees and comprehensive refugee response framework
- Pronounced conceptual and analytical skills as well as quick comprehension and good analytical skills
- Excellent spoken and written English and German skills
- Reliability, team spirit, flexibility, commitment and independence
- Good IT skills in common office applications ( Word, PowerPoint and Excel )
