IGCP Uganda looking for “Store keeper”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

IGCP Job Vacancy 2023
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and document all merchandise and office assets received and assisting with inventory activities as necessary.
- Check all merchandise and office assets for discrepancies and damages.
- Sort merchandise according to location at the store.
- Issuing, receiving and storing stock merchandise in the right quantities and in good condition.
- Conducting general stock taking periodically
- Data entry in physical and digital stock ledgers.
- Keep the store and inventory clean and organized.
Position in Organization:
- Position: Store keeper
- Location: Kampala, Uganda
- Reports To: General Manager
- Level: Entry
Qualification
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Well-presented and professional.
- A high school/ Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience in store keeping, preferably in a management position would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and generally computer literate.
