Tasks and responsibilities include;

Content Creation:

  • Assist in creating written and visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop engaging and informative content that aligns with SNV Uganda’s objectives.

Social Media Management:

  • Help manage the organisation’s social media presence by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the audience.
  • Monitor social media trends and suggest ideas for content that resonate with the target audience.

Event Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of workshops, seminars, webinars, and other events.
  • Help coordinate event logistics, invitations, registrations, and post-event follow-up.

Content Distribution:

  • Support the distribution of content through various channels, ensuring it reaches the intended audience effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise content for different platforms.

Qualification:

  • Currently enrolled/just completed in a relevant degree program or a fresh graduate, such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Additional Information

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts. Knowledge of video and photo editing software, Proficiency in using tools for content creation, such as graphic design software. Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a dynamic team. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a willingness to travel. Strong organisational and time management skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
