Major Tasks
- Travel to location or field – outside Kampala document UNICEF work
- Assignments within and near Kampala including Entebbe, Wakiso, Jinja
- Postproduction and production of high-quality images including submission of detailed captions for each image.

Qualification:
- Education: University degree in Journalism, Visual communication, Photojournalism, Mass Communication or relevant degree
- Work Experience: Five years of professional work preferably in the humanitarian sector.
Competencies:
- High quality portfolio in professional photojournalism
- Artistry, creativity, and inspiration to subjects
- High level of professional capacity to handle a heavy workload under time constraints, with sensitivity to local traditions and customs.
- Experience of working with humanitarian and/or development organizations as well as media, including familiarity with UNICEF’s mission, programmes, field operations and style formats will be an advantage.
- It is preferred that the bidders are located in or near Kampala since some of the assignments might be ad hoc.
- Language: Fluency in English is required
