Eligibility Criteria

  • A university degree in marketing and communications/ Public Relations/ Social and Behaviour Change/ Media/ Development/ Humanitarian/ Advocacy/ Foreign Policy
  • A minimum of five (5) of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, PR, SBC, media, development, humanitarian work, advocacy, foreign policy, journalism

Specialised skills and/or training if needed:

  • The consultant should have skills and experience in management of digital platforms including U-Report and Rapid Pro. The consultant should have some experience in social behaviour change approaches and broader advocacy. Strategic communication experience is also an asset
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset
  • Fluency in English is required

Technical evaluation:

  • demonstrable experience managing and delivering digital platforms
  • demonstrable experience on youth-led social behaviour change campaigns
  • demonstrable experience engaging with government and civil society on digital and youth engagement work
  • previous experience with UN/ UNICEF

Financial evaluation:

  • Fee/rate
  • Monthly cost is required given the expected full-time role of the position
