WHO Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of the Position: In the context of the WHO Health Emergencies Preparedness and Response (EPR), the incumbent will provide financial and administrative support at the Hub level. The purpose of this position is to implement the operations of the Regional Emergency Hub to ensure a smooth running of the operations in administration, general budget and finance, human resources, conference services, logistics, building management, and security.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational (Qualifications)
Essential:
- First university degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited/recognized institute.
Desirable:
- An advanced university degree (Masters level or above) in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Professional certification in areas such as finance, accounting, operations management, etc.
Experience
Essential:
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in operations and/or administration, implementing budget and finance, human resources, logistics, and building management services.
- Experience in supporting emergency or health outbreak operations.
Desirable:
- Prior humanitarian working experience at the field level with WHO, other UN agencies, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations. or with an international nongovernmental organization.
- Good knowledge of end-to-end business processes in WHO GSM Systems or similar ERP Systems.
Languages
- Essential: Expert knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of another UN official language would be an asset.
