IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

- Translating spoken language into sign language and vice versa accurately conveys not just words but also tone and context.
- Collaborating with clients, other interpreters, and service providers to ensure effective communication.
- Being prepared to work in various settings, such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, legal proceedings, or business meetings.
- Prepare/ or familiarize oneself with the subject matter or context of the communication to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Advocating for the accessibility and rights of Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

Minimum Requirement:
