Internews Network Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide general oversight of the program, including program and partner management, strategic vision, budget management, quality and timing of deliverables, and coordination with partners.
- Serve with the project director as the main point of contact for the project in Ethiopia.
- Manage project staff and consultants that provide training and mentoring services to journalists and media outlets.
- Coordinate all the backstopping and technical support to journalists and media beneficiaries’.
- Communicate challenges facing the project and articulate the project’s successes in meeting those challenges.
- Responsible for the quality, cost, and timeliness of performance of all work performed under the funding contract.
- Responsible for the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Project.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly programmatic reports.
- Develop and maintain contact with local stakeholders including BBC Media Action.
- Ensure solid partnerships and coordination with BBC Media Action.
- Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to upholding Internews’ Core Values.
