IGCP Kenya looking for “Lab Technician”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lab set-up
- Lesson Supervision
- Maintain Lab inventory of chemicals and equipment
- Assist in budget preparation
- Complete Requisition forms for consumables
- Ensure tidiness in Lab
Qualification & Experience:
- At least a Diploma in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- High integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility about working the hours needed to fulfill requirements.
