Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision, guidance and mentoring of the respective Programme Management Officer, the Intern will carry out the following duties:
- Assist in building, deploying, and maintaining/supporting the portfolio database
- Assist in developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- Assist in conceptualizing and developing no-code or low-code infrastructure that allows data to be accessed and analysed in the MS PowerPlatform
- Assist in upgrading the Portfolio Management System & other apps
Qualification:
- be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Preferred area of study: Computing, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a relevant area of study related to computer/data sciences.
Experience:
- No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform. Proficiency in Excel, PowerAutomate and Power BI (or suitable equivalent) is required.
