UNEP Job Vacancy 2023
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research and Analysis on specific topics related to UN Development System Reform, as per the Unit’s requirements.
- Support in acquiring, validating, cleaning, transforming and comparing quantitative and qualitative data from different sources, as per the Unit’s requirements.
- Support in designing and maintaining a back-end database of environment in Common Country Analyses and Cooperation Frameworks. Recommend changes in datasets, data models and structures where necessary.
- Assist in the development of dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Utilize business intelligence tools to visualize data and create reports and dashboards for key internal stakeholders and on KPIs.
- Liaise and collaborate with the PPD Information Management Associate and other UNEP colleagues as needed to identify data processing improvement opportunities and propose system modifications.
Qualification:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent);
- Have graduated with a university degree.
- Be computer literate in standard software applications.
Experience:
- No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
