UNMISS Job Vacancy 2024
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is in the Engineering Section of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Yambio. The incumbent will report to the Field Engineer, Yambio.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Job – Specific Qualification:
- A valid Driving license is desirable.
- Relevant certificate in Carpentry or related field is required.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in the construction/building trades is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to zero (0) for candidate who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
- Experience in carpentry and woodworking is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of languages spoken in South Sudan is desirable.
