Key Duties and Responsubilities
- To manage emergencies that may arise in the home and ensure correct procedures are followed.
- To provide regular developmental trainings for all staff to promote excellent standards of baby care across the facility. Train nannies to follow this up in their units.
- To monitor staff and ensure they are doing correct activities at the right time.
- To ensure that adequate supplies are readily available, daily for use with the babies.
- To collaborate with social workers when babies are admitted to the facility and ensure correct documentation within 24 hours of intake.
- To ensure compliance to the established safety, administrative and security standard operating procedures and conduct periodic trainings.
- To ensure that all the equipment in the facility is maintained at a highest standards and report any maintenance faults on a timely basis as per established procedures.
- To support the administrative team in general duties such stock record keeping, petty cash accountability reports preparation, budgeting.
- To ensure nannies are properly oriented, trained and performance standards are well explained.
- To demonstrate good leadership and promote good stewardship of resources available.
- To manage routine staffing duties, observe food hygiene skills, nannie’s registry and facility sanitation standards and address raised issues in a timely manner.

Qualification:
- The applicant for the role of Supervisor should hold a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Early Childhood Development, Education, and any other related courses.
- A certificate in Child Protection from a recognized institution is of added advantage.
- At least a minimum of two years’ working experience in a childcare organization.
