What you’ll do:

Data Collection and Management

  • Responsible for the maintenance of our employee data and records – including regularly updating our HRIS, following up on missing onboarding tasks, and ensuring our website and LinkedIn team pages are up to date.
  • Support data collection and analysis across People Team functions – including staff satisfaction surveys, benefits enrollment, performance reviews, and training requirements.

Customer Service and General Team Support

  • Run the People team Help Desk – act as the first point of contact for all employees with queries on process and policy. Surface areas of concern where policies are unclear or insufficient and proposing potential solutions. Track metrics like time to resolve issues and team member satisfaction with level of service and ultimate issue resolution.
  • Support the smooth onboarding and offboarding of Global Shared Services staff – prepare documentation including contracts, transfer/separation letters, compliance and training-related documents, and ensure designation to the appropriate payroll or remote hiring platform.

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience, preferably in an HR-related role

  • Meticulous, organized, and a proactive mindset
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Entry-level comfort with cleaning data, especially in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to travel ~1-2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits
  • Preferred: Experience with various HR systems (HR reporting, benefits portals, etc.)
  • Strongly preferred: Africa-based candidates
