Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to implementation planning, reporting, and other technical exercises by taking notes at meetings and brainstorming sessions, producing draft plans and other documents, and identifying and following up on action items.
- Provide production support for project materials, presentations, and reports, including editing and formatting.
- Contribute to the administrative management of local consultancy agreements, sub-awards, and/or sub-grants by assisting in drafting scopes of work and budgets in consultation with members of the project team, preparing and processing consultant agreements, monitoring consultant labor expended, and processing consultant invoices.
- Assist with research tasks by performing literature searches on specified topics, preliminary analyses of data sets, maintenance of databases, etc.
- Maintain project files, including personnel files, files of project deliverables and project reports.
- Manage and document correspondence with the Abt headquarters office, regional health bureaus, and other partners and stakeholders.
- Assist with monitoring the proper reporting of labor time and the timely submission of timesheets.
- Make logistical arrangements for project events and field activities, including travel support for project staff or visitors.
- Assist with planning and scheduling meetings.

Preferred Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management, accounting, or other relevant field.
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in programmatic and administrative support. Experience in operations and/or logistics is a plus.
- Experience in editing and formatting technical documents.
- USAID or other international donor experience is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of and experience with Windows, Word, Excel and other data processing and graphic presentation software.
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills and solid organizational skills.
- Ability to independently plan and multitask.
- Fluency in Amharic and English language proficiency is required.
