DCA Job Vacancy 2023
Responsibilities:
- Prepare personal bi-weekly plan and accomplishment report, which will be submitted and presented during staff meeting.
- Assist HOFS/SFMs in ensuring DCA and partners are compliant to donor and internal financial regulations.
- Review posted accounting document (payment vouchers, collection and general journal entries, reconciliation reports and others) received from field offices and HO.
- Follow-up statutory obligations including taxes, pensions, provident funds are paid at field offices on time and bring to the attention of HOFS/SFM any missed deadlines or long outstanding balances.
- Collaboration with SFCO conduct monitoring visits to partner organizations, Field offices and analyze records of current and past operations to determine trends and regulate sound and consistent financial management.
- Prepare and conduct induction for new partners on DCA financial system, reporting templates and expectations and ensure that partners new finance staff understand the same.
- Assist SFM in project proposal preparation
- Prepare monthly BVA, attend BVA meetings and project budget revision
- Prepare donor report when requested by SFM
- Ensure that the financial documentations are well captured, filed, complete and secured both at HO & field office. Finance policy of DCA, government rules and procedures, and donor requirements are meet.
- Participate in procurement committee when assigned
- Review partner budget and report.
