UNEP Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
- continuous development of content material for social media and other communication platforms to be disseminated on the project website including update of report of forum activities.
- development of content material for the Switch Africa Green website and other communication platforms to be disseminated during the national networking forums.
- development of content material for the Switch Africa Green website and other communication platforms to be disseminated during the national policy dialogues and other regional forums.
- publication of policy briefs from policy support activities in the countries – Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa and Uganda.
- Proofread country reports from Kenya, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Mauritius and South Africa before publication.
- Review videos and photography materials from vendors covering SAG activities and upload on the SAG YouTube channel
Qualification & Experience:
- A University degree in communication, marketing, journalism, infographic design, social sciences, or technical related field. is required.
- At least 4 years’ work experience working in an environment-related field and in communications is required.
- Professional work experience in communication is required, print and broadcast media with a considerable experience in interactive digital media is an asset;
- Knowledge of development of communication and project content is required
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this post fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of another UN official language is an added advantage.
