IGCP Uganda looking for “Holistic Wellness Skin Therapist”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Responsibilities:

Holistic Consultations:

  • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients’ skin concerns, goals, and dietary habits.
  • Analyze skin conditions and create personalized skincare and nutritional plans.

Skincare Treatments:

  • Perform a range of advanced skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, and holistic therapies.
  • Utilize advanced skincare technologies and techniques to address specific skin concerns.

Nutritional Guidance:

  • Integrate diet and nutritional knowledge into skincare consultations, providing clients with holistic wellness recommendations.
  • Offer guidance on how dietary choices impact skin health and collaborate with clients to develop personalized nutrition plans.

Holistic Approach:

  • Incorporate holistic approaches to skincare, such as exercise recommendations, anxiety and self-awareness to enhance overall well-being.
  • Educate clients on the interconnectedness of skincare, nutrition, and overall health.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about skincare products and nutritional supplements, recommending products aligned with holistic wellness principles.
  • Collaborate with management to curate retail product offerings.
