Scope of Work:
Under the supervision of the Yoma Program Manager the consultant will create a comprehensive dashboard with Yoma core indicators to monitor progress and assess impact. In this process, the consultant will clean and consolidate data and implement ways to regularly update data from yoma partners as well as define key performance indicators with the different yoma workstream leads to be presented on the dashboard.
- Technical Asssitance to UNICEF Country Offices on innovative platforms for youth engagement, skills building, and employability in the green sector (ie greem yoma, Atingi), as well as the African Data and Drone Academy (ADDA)
- There are several data sources used within yoma such as Google Analytics, data from challenges organised by partners and the database from the platform. The consultant is expected to familiarise him/herself with the data.
- Desktop research and development of integrating external data, which updates itself automatically on a regular basis: The consultant is expected to build a dashboard that integrated data from partners and updates the data regularly and automatically.
- Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor
Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in an academic field related to data science.
- Experience in cleaning and working with large datasets.
- At least six months of experience working with data and monitoring
- Strong analytical skills
- Good drafting skills
- Fluency in English, Knowledge of French an asset
