UNODC Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct a four-day maritime rule of law tabletop exercises (MROL TTXs) in Comoros, Djibouti, Kenya, Mauritius, and Madagascar with other UNODC experts on MDA, legal, and MLE.
- Conduct a two-week Maritime Rule of Law Exercise (MROLEX) for Mauritius and Seychelles.
- Conduct a two-week Maritime Rule of Law Exercise (MROLEX) for Comoros, Djibouti, and Madagascar.
- Conduct a two-week Maritime Rule of Law Exercise (MROLEX) for Tanzania and Kenya.
- Provide written and photographic inputs for inclusion in UNODC visibility materials in each work location.
Qualification & Experience:
- An advanced University degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Marine Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Boat Maintenance Engineering, process improvement/planning or a related field is required;
- A first level university degree or equivalent professional training with certification from recognized International/national Marine Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Boat Maintenance Engineering, process improvement/planning or a related field, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Formal qualifications or certifications from a recognized national or international Marine Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Boat Maintenance Engineering, process improvement/planning or a related field, in combination with four (4) additional years of qualifying work experience, may be accepted in lieu of the first level university degree.
