IGCP Uganda looking for “Parking Management Valet Driver”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Responsibilities:

Parking Operations

  • Efficiently manage parking spaces, ensuring optimal utilization and organization of the parking area.
  • Direct and guide customers to available parking spaces with a focus on maximizing space and improving overall efficiency.

Vehicle Safety:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for any damages or safety issues upon receiving them.
  • Implement safe and responsible driving practices when parking and retrieving customer vehicles.

Customer Experience:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with luggage or personal items as needed.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a smooth parking experience.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Maintain clear communication with customers, providing information about parking procedures and any relevant details.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and optimize parking operations.

Emergency Response:

  • Be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, such as accidents or medical incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and their vehicles.

Adherence to Safety Regulations:

  • Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations when operating customer vehicles.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among the valet team.
