IOM Job Vacancy 2023

Core Functions/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop, assess and ensure the timely preparation and generation of information products, and ensure information sharing and dissemination through all relevant channels in line with IOM’s data protection principles.
  • Ensure the integration of gender perspective and attention to specific needs of vulnerable populations such as pregnant women, persons with disabilities, the elderly, children as well as other highly vulnerable groups within data collection activities
  • Develop project proposals, project updates and final reports to donors throughout the programme cycle and in line with IOM protocols
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, information management, development studies, or policy from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience;
  • Master’s degree in the above fields with seven years of professional experience

Experience:

  • Experience managing and coordinating research and analysis in emergency durable solutions contexts in support of evidence-based programming across the UN system and NGOs;
  • Experience in developing and establishing data and analysis systems for a range of audiences with various information needs;
  • Experience with project management of large data and research portfolios, preferably in support of multi-partner consortiums with varying information needs;
